Does anyone know how to remove grips on a SW1066? I bought some Houge Panels to replace the cruddy plastic ones that came with it. Need some help, plus I want to clean it good under those panels.

First, verify the pistol is unloaded.

Then, drive out the pin at the bottom of the grip.
Then using a little "up and out" pressure on the bottom of the backstrap, the grip should pop loose. There are two tabs inside the grips, so you will have to spread the grip just a bit to clear the frame.

Installation is reverse, just make sure you get the mainspring back into its seat in the backstrap.

If its like the 40 series guns -- and I think it is -- a screwdriver or punch pushed into the opening on the bottom of the butt will make it easier to drive out the pin.

(There's a plastic cup [with a nipple on it] on the end of the mainspring that is pressing up against the pin and the grips...)
