My father won the 2003 sponsor gun from the NWTF banquet this year, and gave it to me as a christmas gift.
It is the 30 year anniversary shotgun, available only to sponsors.
It is a Winchester 1300 w/ 28" barrel, (3) choke tubes, a beautiful wood stock, and gold NWTF 30yr anniversary medallion embedded in the stock.
I have absolutely no intention of selling it, but I am curious as to its approximate worth.
Any help would be appreciated....

Wal-Mart sells the basic 1300 for $219 with all three chokes.
With the plush wood stock and engraving it might bring you a few dollars more.
I aint qualified enough to give you a real estimate on it. Just wanted to give you an idea of the basic price for one. Take care.

It will probably only bring a $100-$200 more than going rate if the wood is exceptional, and that only depends on demand as collector value, which there is none for Win 1300s. Even Ducks Unlimited editions only bring 10-20% over gun value if that.

"Banquet" guns do not appreciate faster than similar, unadorned models unless they're things like Model 21s,etc.
What you have is a nice looking shotgun worth at most less than $500. I'd carry it fot that on my house insurance.
It probably also is a nice shooting field and clays gun. Exercise it some and have fun.
