Same here. "Under construction" isn't an acceptable page for a business these days guys. It's not 1996. If they want to be taken seriously they need their page up and working. Even if a full shopping cart isn't in the cards (I know that not everyone is computer savy enough to get that working on their own) it couldn't take more than 20 minutes to get a price list typed up and posted.

Man, those are funky looking...

Here's what I found linking into the site from Google:

I know the guy who makes those. I met him through a internet forum. I would send the guy a blank check. I have dealt with Donnie in several ways. I have always come away with a deeper appreciation of him.

The bullets are awesome. I got some 9mm to give to a skeptical friend. My friend measured them a found no variance worth noting. Still a skeptic. He weighed them and found no variance worth noting, but was still skeptical. Shooting them impressed him. I would venture to say he shoots easily 20K a year handgun.

Donnie is also an excellent shot. I have seen him win a match on Saturday and then again on Sunday. But then it sort of runs in his family and even extended family.

Website aside you won't deal with a better person. Donnie is as good as it gets.

Guys- Donnie is in the process of revamping his web site.

He's a local guy/shooter/competitor to the crowd down here in Louisiana.

I've run a few thousand of his 180gr Trunicated Nose .40's through my pistols, and have a few thousand more in 9mm, 40's, and .38's in my supply cabinet.

I call them my Kryptonite bullets-they're hell on Superman.

I get 1.5" groups at the local indoor range at 50' out of a G22 with a stock barrel with 6.1gr of Power Pistol loaded to 1.2" at 1,021fps. I shoot them out of a G22, G27, and a PM40. never had a lick of trouble with them.

They're good consistent bullets.

I think you'll like them. I've never had any issues with barrel fouling on any of the pistols listed above.

Always take any reloading recipies off of the internet with a grain of salt, but here's the breakdown from a day with the chrono:

Bayou Bullets Glock 22 Glock 27 PM40
180gr 1.115" OAL
Power Pistol Muzzle
Chg. Wt. Vel. 10ft.
6.1 1021 922 926
6.4 1037 986 971
6.7 1067 1001 1002
7 1103 1113 1346

I don't believe the PM40 velocity at 7 grains.

I also mistakenly mentioned in the first response that I loaded to 1.2" It was actually 1.115".

I have loaded and shot 4 or 5 thousand .38 and .45 Bayou Bullets and they are the best for me.
They don't smoke which is a big plus for multiple shots in competition. The gun stays clean and the bore cleans up easy.
The website is not good but Donnie will respond quickly to an email with pricing and he will deliver fast.

Donnie's brother was telling me about Bayou Bullets and I asked him about fouling. He handed me his revolver and said "I've run around 3000 rounds through this one without cleaning it.". The gun was filthy but the barrel looked great for 3000 rounds.

There are many good and valid reasons why you should get the website up as quickly as possible One is that it saves you from answering the same "Do you have..." and "How much is..." questions over and over.

I recently ordered 1k of his 180gn TC .40 cal bullets.

If you are looking for consistent rounds, buy these. I pulled 50 from each box of 500 and weighed/measured then. All were within .3gn of 180gn, most were within .1. Width and length wise they were all accurate to the limitations of my micrometer.

They shoot great! The no-smoke selling point is no joke. If I hadn't seen the rounds I would have assumed they were FMJ rounds during shooting.
