Well I finally got a Sphinx AT-380 for pocket carry, and the gun is quite well made an' all, but... THE GRIPS SUCK! flimsy, chintzy, crappy, insert adjective for poor quality here. I've not found anyone in this country that stocks aftermarket grips for this thing, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good custom grips shop. The grips would have to be extraordinarily thin because of the gun's design, so would plastic or fiberglass or some such thing work better than wood?
Thanks in advance :D

Sphinx DOES offer wood and exotic wood grips for the AT380. I had a pair of wood grips sent to me from Sphinx for my AT 2000 Police Special.
The grips on my AT380s were fine however I suppose there could be some bad ones out there.
Contact Mr. Wipf. He is the Chief Operating Officer for Sphinx. He'll be able to tell you how to order Sphinx factory wood grips for your AT380. There is now a U.S. distributor for Sphinx but they are NOT responsive to inquiries so I wouldn't bother contacting them. However I've listed their info also.

Thanks, I never actually tried contacting the manufacturer :uhoh:
I've tried rocky mountain armoury but they've not answered any emails, and when I call them I get put on hold and eventually disconnected!
I'll send an email to Mr. Wipf, Thanks for the info!

Because of the design of the grips I think I'd have to send the whole gun, which I would imagine to be a major ordeal when shipping overseas.
