I've never been a fan of in-lines, but I have a chance to pick one up. Does anyone haved anything positive to say about them?

arcticap July 20, 2011, 10:32 PM It's a rather unique discontinued model that has a following. They seem to be heavy duty and well built, and Cabela's sold a lot of them. The rolling block design is a combination of rustic and modern. :) .45Guy July 21, 2011, 09:29 AM The combination of rustic and modern is why I'm drawn to it. Any cooments on the quality and durability in use? arcticap July 21, 2011, 12:03 PM A Google search for Cabela's Rolling Block [and also including "muzzle loader"] turns up many reviews. This one seems to be honest and revealing: http://www.go2gbo.com/forums/index.php?topic=16511.0 Here's a favorable black powder journal article about shooting it. http://www.blackpowderjournal.com/archives/vol2no2/articles/BPJ22-2.htm I met someone who had one for several years, and he liked it so much that he ended up buying a 2nd one. So what one person might think is a troublesome cleaning regimen may not be bothersome at all for another person. I think that Pedersoli offered 2 different versions of the gun first using an #11 cap and then later using a 209. Some Cabela's reviews: http://reviews.cabelas.com/8815/213911/cabelas-rolling-block-muzzleloader-reviews/reviews.htm .45Guy July 21, 2011, 03:02 PM Thanks Arctic, searching for Pedersoli rolling block didn't exactly bring up a wealth of info.
