Hello thanks for taking the time to look at my post

Building a lightweight precision rifle with a 700 Remington action , looking for some one kind of stock /furniture similar to the Cheytac m200 setup or the m14 sage int EBR, nemsis 308 sorta setup, the point of it being a skeleton like stock.

Thanks in advanced

What do you call lightweight? Most tactical stocks I've weighed or seen advertised run between 36-48 oz. at a minimum. If you want a true lightweight you could set it up in a hunting stock weighing between 16-28 oz. easily. I have my FN patrol rifle in one of the Bell & Carlson stocks made for the Winchester Extreme Weather rifle. It weighs 30 oz. and took 1.5 lbs off the overall weight of the rifle after removing the Hogue that came on it.

I'm not sure I've seen any true lightweight "tactical" type stocks. Some advertise them as lightweight, but my scales say different. I'd start looking here www.mcmfamily.com

I think this may be what you are looking for, but it's definitely not light weight.

That is exactly what I'm looking for, any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I like that myself for a bolt action.
