Electronic Library

Today I saw where someone commented that it was hard to keep notes about where they had found data i old magazines.

A few years back National Geographic offered a CD based library of all their magazines from issue one to date that has everything to include ads.

Anyone offer anything like this with things like American Rifleman, BP Review (or whatever dixies annual was called) or "Guns and Blammo World Times?"

Got to be something easier than having crates of old book mold standing along a wall of the shop and in every closet.

Even searchable indexes would be an improvement.

On a related note for one of the pros or seli pros wouldn't a monthly article in say Civil War Times or some such showing some ferrin ACW gun and or a modern repro be more interesting than the occassional page or two article on the same few muskets?

How about a one shot, annual or semi annual about moder BP replicas and their use. Maybe even an article about finding stuff in the web about such that might include say a meantion of here.

Was just not happy with some attempts at digital photography and trying to think of something else (knew I should not have polished that Brasser BEFORE photographing it!)

Would not mind seeing a site with reviews of various Repros WITHOUT 400 pages of comments on each "article" and a flame war over someones hurt feelings or whether a screw slot was theproper width on the reviewed gun.

Just thinkin', ya know?
