I have had my lee classic turret for about a week. Today whenver i went to push up and seat a new primer the handle slipped. So i thought well its just worked loose and come to find out it stipped the bolt and the collar the handle goes through. Luckily i called lee and they shipped me new ones out immediately, but i was wondering if this was common or just one of those things. It looked to me like the bolt was too short and was only making contact with about 2 threads.

I've had mine five years no problems. That's the first time I have heard of that happening.

Never heard of that problem before.
No big trouble with mine for years and many thousands of 9mm.

So far no one has asked te obvious question. How do the threads engage now?
How do the teeth on the press arm engage? How often to you verify they are tight?
Sorry to hear you had trouble with your press. Glad to hear Lee honored their warranty?
Is everything put together in the correct orientation?

Are you talking about this assembly? If so, how in blazes did that happen? Did you tighten it up before you started using it?

It would take quite a bit of force to strip that bolt. I too have to wonder if you tightened it when you set it up. Otherwise it would have to be a bad bolt.

Yes Mike that piece. I have came to the conclusion that they just put too short of a bolt in with my press. It didnt grab enough threads whenever it was tight (Only two).
