I just bought a tac 65 for 175 plus 200 stamp. Its new in the box and the dealer let me shoot it. To me it sounded very good useing standard 22s. I used some CBs just to see how it sounded and it was less than a BB gun but did not cycle the action. I have had some people who buy the top end suppressors like Kodiac sparrow ect for 450 and up not counting the stamp that I have wasted my money. What are your opinions?

I've run a TAC-65 on a Walther P22 and it shot flawlessly with Federals. Very quiet, even indoors, and it added negligible weight to the already light handgun. I'd say you did fine. There are plenty of good subsonic offerings out there. Just buy a few packs and see what cycles your firearm reliably.

Thanks. I almost bought a YHM mite but found this one for 125 less. I am not going to be running thousands of rounds every six months. Maybe a few boxes a year. A little anti size on the threads and I think I wont have a problem.

I've had a Tac-63 for years now, it was the previous model. It's still fantastic, even after I've put low six-digits worth of ammo through it in pistols and rifles.

You snagged one at a great price, you'll love it for many years. :)

Thanks, the dealer let me shoot it before I bought which was nice. I checked and went pending on the 7th of June. I am hoping that it is approved very soon. The calculator said it was about 60 percent chance Aug. was the month.

This will be my first suppressor, I don't think I am going to go out and buy another. But this one will be fun. I have heard a lot of good about the TAC65 from owners and a lot of bad from people who own more expensive cans. People are people whether its cars and my BMW is better than your Corolla or cans and my Sparrow is two db lower then your crap TAC65:neener: I will only be 380 all in with stamp and all and for a high end can it would have been more like 700. For my purposes I think this will be more than adequate.

Picked it up a few weeks ago and took it to my garage and put about twenty in the garbage bbl into some old phone books. LOL No ear plugs and it was about as loud as a pellet gun. Used Remington subsonics.
