And the best kind! after about a year dating, she wondered into my "hobby room" and got interested super fast, after all this time "not carrying about my boring ammo".

she's been a very talented shooter for some time, we started shooting together at the range about two and a half years ago. This was yesterday afternoon, loading 28 gauge on a versamec all by herself.

she loaded until about 3 am, then woke me up bright and early saying "LETS GO LOAD SOME AMMUNITION!"

She has spent all day loading 12 gauge on a sizemaster, and 20 gauge on a ponsness warren duamatic 375.

and she's already bugging me to learn how to load pistol and rifle (for her .222, .223 and .22-250) on the dillon and rock-chucker!

I don't even have a 20 gauge anymore, but i now have close to 1000 rounds if i ever decide to get another, and she's turned my 1000+ stock of 12 gauge practice ammunition into over 2500. if i hadn't run out of 209 primers i'd still be stuck out here. Time to add on and get more presses, right!?
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

You Lucky Dog!

Hondo,

"Sounds like a keeper" Check the picture a little closer. I think Tom is way ahead of ya.

You are a lucky man Tom.

I've seen electric motor driven reloaders. I've seen hydraulic reloaders.

That's the first reloading machine I've ever seen that runs on chocolate !! :D

She's a keeper.

I also married a girly girl but I think I did well since she has actually put up with my for 33 years now.

tommyintx,
You better marry that girl, don't lose her!

Can I borrow her for a few days? I'm gettin' behind in my loading.

Hmmm... Any of the women I've shot with merely know how to unload ammo. I really ought to train one to load ammo.

Hey Tommy, that is great!

Sounds to me like you need to get a couple of 20 gauges...........and more components.

One suggestion though, please get some safety glasses and ya'll wear em.

It's a good habit to get into.

Congrats!

That's awesome. If my wife and I didn't have a 10 month old daughter I could probably teach her to help me reload.

My old lady loves to reload. She will sit down at the bench and crank out the rounds. She only likes to load pistol rounds. She told me rifle loads are too mcu work. Yet, she will load pistol for quite a few hours at a time... Go figure...

I think there is nothing better that sitting down with the wife and loading. Except for going to the range and unloading. Well going to the field and limiting out on doves. Sitting in the stand and helping her get a nice buck... Shooting a limit of ducks.... Keep it fun and keep it interesting, let someone else give her advice on shooting though. Keep biting your tongue there. Going on 20 with my bride and best friend, and some of our fondest memories include firearms. Good stuff..

Congrats

Good for you Tommy. One word of advice tho.......to reduce the chances of a double or triple charge ending up in your gun, I'd avoid pissing her off before a reloading session.............just sayin'.:D
