OK, so correct me but I was always under the impression that a SECRET was not to be told/shown/shared ?.

Let's start with the name...the name SEAL Team 6 was disbanded in 1987.

Technically, that is correct. The current group developed out of ST6 and has a classified name that nobody actually knows and so the current group gets called ST6. http://www.businessinsider.com/the-team-that-killed-bin-laden-seal-team-6-2011-5

They gotta call them something even if ST6 isn't actually a seal team.

DEVGRU was a more recent name than SEAL Team 6

Two local boys that graduated from a school my friend teaches at were both SEALs that got killed in that Chinook crash. Sad. The local news said they were not involved in the UBL raid, but I wonder if they would say that even if they had been? Out of protection for their families and what not. I don't know.

As for the show, I haven't seen it yet, but most of these shows just show the same old stuff, and act like it's some sort of new material or something. There's usually nothing about them that is "news", especially if you are semi-educated on weapons of the world. I might watch it though and give it a chance.

So it seems that putting "Gun Related" in the subject doesn't actually make it so.

Weird.
