45 ACP - 1911 5" barrel

I have been using the following for awhile but wast wondering if any one had any load data or might have better loads, I have no way to measure the speed or check for the power factor shooting in USPSA. Accuracy seems pretty good but just wanted to check with you experts and see what you would recommend.

230 RN - 4.0 of Bullseye - 1.260
200 FP - 4.4 of Bullseye - 1.210

This has been pretty much the limits of my loading ventures.

Thanks for any replies.

This might help, but to really know you pretty much need to run them over a chrono. Those are fairly mild.

Wander around in the reloading section of the Brian Enos forums - all the IPSC/USPSA reload data you could want...

I don't believe your current loads are anywhere near major power factor.

Are those even starting loads? Not that they look bad. I don't shoot comp so I have no idea about the power factor but those look light.

They are quite light. No way they make major. :)

Thanks, I know they are a little light. I need a 165 power factor to make major, that is weight x velocity.

According to some data I have found: Not sure without chrono.

230 grain with 4.0 bullseye = 700fps so 230 x 700 should put me at 161 power factor.

If this data is reasonable, that means I am a little closer than I thought.

Is this data close?

I cannot find any on the 200 grain FP rainiers though.

Thanks

You don't list seating depth. That is a major factor.
