London has decided to give away 125,ooo lucky school children tickets to the 2012 Olympics, except those involving guns.
Seems the city officials and olympic organizers, fearing a backlash from anti gun lobbyists, will exclude 15 shooting events from Mayor Boris Johnson's Ticketshare giveaway.
Said to be influenced by Johnson's recent attemps to quell teenage gun and knife crimes.
Seems like Archery, Karate, and Boxing should have also followed suite.
I would have thought this to be a great time to expose guns in a much more positive way. Better to be shooting at a range than down the street kinda thing.
