from the above options, which would you choose? if you pick the Glock, what caliber would you choose? 9mm, 40sw, .45acp?

IIRC, if you are modifying an existing gun the Form 1 requires information on that gun, so you have to have that info when you apply, not after you get the tax stamp.

I would pick the AR for versatility.

Yes, the AR would probably be first pick for most folks and really makes the most sense as you can do so much with it. (Swapping uppers from .204 Ruger to .50 Beowulf) is COOL.)

I might pick the Draco because I really do like Kalashnikovs and the Draco is a no-brainier easy conversion.

I cannot imagine a need for a handgun with a shoulder stock. The sights are wrong for the LOP, and I can shoot faster and more accurately, and much more flexibly with a handgun held as a handgun than with one with an odd appendage sticking off the back of it. A handgun stock is an arguably useful upgrade to make a machine pistol a little bit more useful. But that's not exactly a huge endorsement, and none at all for a semi-auto.

AR you can do more with it. When you do form 1 put down a 7.5 inch barrel you can always go long.

I think the argument has been made!:D

Well I'd go Draco, but I can see where the AR would be much more versatile.
