I just bought a used bow and it does have some scratches on it but two of them look kinda deep could this be that the limbs are cracked how can I tell?

Never draw a bow with cracked limbs. i can't tell without seeing it, but deep scratches sound bad too.

If you bought it from a bow shop take it back and have them look at it. If you bought it privately, still, take it to a bow shop and have them look at it. Even if it costs you. A bow that explodes can bugger up your day. What kind of bow?

What I have is a pse nova with a coulple 1/4-1/2 inch splits/scratches you can barely feel them when you run your finger nail across them and there is not any splinters or sharp edges on them. Also these are on the flat part of the limbs and not even close to the sides or the cam. one limb has one on front and it goes horizontal, the other limb is on the back and it goes vertical. Any help would be great.

I have been running my finger nail in the scratch and it is turning red really weird huh, could this be the primer under the paint which would mean it just a scratch? Also does any one know if pse will sell me new limbs and the price for them?
