The Nevada Legislature is scheduled to begin on February 3rd, 2003. There are already several bill draft requests (BDR) that may affect your right to carry a handgun in the State of Nevada.

I am restarting the Nevada CCW Information (http://www.nvccw.org) site and an e-mail alert service to keep you advised of any bills introduced that may affect your ability to carry a gun or get a CCW in the State of Nevada. It is an entirely free service, and your email address is NOT provided to anyone else.

The BDR's are pretty sketchy right now, but I've paid for a bill tracking service that will alert me when the bills are introduced. I'll then keep everyone informed through the e-mail alerts and the various forums.

I'm also planning to setup the links to allow anyone to e-mail all of the appropriate Committee members as the bills wind their way through committee. This was very effective in helping to get the non-resident CCW bill pased last legislative session (2001).
