Just received an e-mail from Midsouth offer free Hazmat over the weekend if you order $250.00 worth of powder and primers. Figures I just purchased powder and primers from LGS this past weekend (primers were $29.95 per brick and powder was $24.99 per lb + 5% VA tax). Not sure what they charge for shipping 16 lbs of powder, but it would have saved me $7.00 per lb for the powder had I known earlier about this sale. Anyhow, if anyone is interested here is the info:

Offer valid Friday, September 2, 2011 8am CST until Monday, September 5, 2011 at midnight CST.

No Hazardous Material fee on orders of $250 or more worth of powder and/or primers.

MUST ENTER PROMO CODE: FREEHAZ

Your order can have non-hazardous items in it, but it must have at least $250 worth of powder and/or primers.

In stock items only. Savings cannot be applied to back orders.

I checked it out, but the prices are higher than PV, so it cancels out.

+1 for EddieNFL's comment.

I did a price comparison on what I normally order, and PV's prices overcome the free hazmat.

I guess I'm really lucky. There is an independent guy about 10 minutes from my house with powder and primer prices only a couple dollars more than PV.

Yeah, I checked too. They're prices are about $20/8lb jug higher than Powder Valley. Buying $250 worth of powder would cost more than just buying it at Powder Valley without a sale.

I wonder how they sell powder when they're not having a sale.
