I am looking for a dummy or the metal cylender for the dummy. It is for a H & R 9 shot 22 cal. revolver that is used in training a dog to retrieve a duck. I bought this equipment in the early 80's. I lost the large rubber dummy and the small and have only the medium rubber without the metal cylender. Can anyone help? THX. The 22cal pistol was converted to train dogs and has 2 1/2" metal flange or plate at base of barrel that has O- rings and the dummy is propelled with 22 blanks. or charges.

I had one but it was a retriev-r-trainer brand.. instead of a pistol firing the blanks, it was single shot break action.. had several dummies with it, round ball, short canvas, canvas with flag.. see if this is close to what you are hunting for..

Another dog trainer stole mine so i don't have it to measure, but the one i had was a smaller diameter sleeve than the Retriever Trainer. I had some aluminum tubing that was a snug fit over the o-ring on the barrel. I bought several fishing net floats that were made of a durable high denisity foam. The floats felt like the same stuff Doken uses in their fetch bumpers. The floats were about the size of the small footballs they throw into the stands during football games. I crimped the end of the tube and inserted the tube into the float. I never epoxied but it would not have hurt as sometimes after many shots the tube would seperate from the bumper. I used nail blanks and cleaned thoroughly since the blanks had black powder in them.
I used to be able to get the store bought ones from a gun shop in Brenhem, TX.

Thanks for the info i checked with Westbrook metals in austin and i have to buy 12' for $60.00 to get a 6" piece. They wont sell any less. Do you still have any tubing that will work? ID is very close to 11/16"

go to junk yard and get some of the tubing off an ac unit. swage it to fit. Remember tubing is measured by OD, Pipe is measured by ID.
