I'm interested in a rifle caliber pistol, or a 'PDW' type gun as a range toy / varmint plinker.
IF you were going to buy one which one would you choose and why? It seems like there are an awful lot of them on the market these days, each one with its own perks and wizz-bang gimmicks. I want to keep it to roughly $1,000 (but less is always better. :D )
I'm giving a hard look to the KelTec PLR - 16 and Glock SBR (to make stock legal), because the would be the cheapest to buy / build, and the munitions would also be the cheapest to shoot...
Though the Local FFL has a semi-auto 'Scorpion' SBR with a folding stock, that could be mine for $1,000 after paper work. Though largely useless, it is still very sexy (funny how those things go hand in hand so often) :D
