It was time to size and decap a bunch of 223 cases. I recently bought an RCBS Lube die so it seemed like a good opportunity to try it. I put it in station 1 and my sizing die (minus decapping pin) in station 2. I was decapping and sizing cases as fast as I could pull the handle.

The Lube die has a decapping pin but the rod does not have an appropriately sized expander ball so I left the decapping rod in the sizer die minus the pin.

Now if I only had a Giraud trimmer I would be all set.

Wouldn't the Dillon power trimmer in station 3 be even better?

You could just crank them through, one after another.

Hmmm...I've been batch sizing my 223 with my turret press prior to loading on my Dillon. I already have the Giraud and Dillon swager.

I bet I could buy another aluminum toolhead for the 650, install the lube die in station one, size die in station two and then manually extract at station 3, and straight into the tumbler to remove lube. Trim with the Giraud, swage and back into the 650 for loading. Would speed up my process significantly.

Would be awesome if someone made a more robust die with lube reservoir...something I could leave set up and not have to refill.
