There's a local auction listing for a C.H. revolver. 38sp. I'm just trying to get a good idea what everything there is worth so I don't bid too high, but... I have no idea what this is, can't get any info, and if you call they tell you "just show up." Anyone heard of C.H.?

Possibly an abbreviation for "Concealed Hammer"...in which case it's most likely a snub nosed Taurus 85CH or CIA (models that have been in production for many years):
possibly one of the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard or Centennial Models offered over the decades:
A DAO only Ruger like the SP-101:
Prices could be all over the map depending upon manufacturer, age of the gun, material/finish, condition, and specific version for sale. A used Taurus might go for $250-$350. A used S&W might go for $300-$450 depending upon model. A used Ruger SP-101 would likely fall in between the price ranges of Taurus (lower) and S&W (higher).
There was also an imported C.H. (Cerugilu Hermanos / Eibar, Spain) .38 revolver produced in the 1930's. If it's one of these old Spanish pieces...I'd pass. Curio interest only:
