I may be insane but I want to Melonite (tn) my beautiful bright stainless ROA. One major thing that's stopping me is that I'd bet that the Classicballistx cylinder(s), the Power billet grip frame and the Clemens Bisley hammer, would all come out different shades of black/blue/grey than each other and the rest of the gun.

I'm sure some of the pieces were cast, others billet and some forged, all of different grades of stainless. Maybe I should leave it alone...

You should go ahead and do it and post the results so the rest of us will know.

go shoot the dam revolver till you cant hear no more, and then shoot it some more,a well worn finish indicates prowess, and proficiency,a purty revolver is fine but ,dont neglect your shooting skills, you pampered pup.

You're as likely to leave that thing alone as a teenage boy is likely to leave his thing alone :D

Swap it to someone who likes it the way it is, for a rusty blued one, and do what ever you want to it. that way, it will be an improvement.Seriously, why mess up a revolver that's already perfect?
