Glock 29 and 10mm questions

Lately, I have been gettin bored. Now, I have started looking at calibers I have previously ignored. The most recent of which is the 10mm. Well I rented a Glock 29 tonight alongside a Glock 30. The 29 I was shooting was 180grain at ? velocity. The 30 was 185 gr at 1050 or so. The 10mm seemed to sting my finger and was more of a handful. Heck, I really don't what my question is now that I see it in black and white. The 10mm, however, seemed to recoil straight back. What is the concensus and opinions of these two and the 10mm for that matter?

Well...........
God carries a Delta Gold Cup. :D
The 10mm is the best autoloading cartridge ever made.
Look at all the threads recenty concerning the 10mm and you will see the affection that the cartridge garners.
I have both Glocks in 10mm and my two Deltas, so I am somewhat biased towards the cartridge. :D

Thanks guys, it does seem like the 10mm is gaining momentum. I don't know if there are actually more posts about it, or if I am just now paying attention to them? It would be nice if the round were offered in say HK's, Glock-single stack, XD's, Sig.

I have a few Glocks and they are so doggone practical that I can't help but like them. (Still ugly though;).)
And I keep thinking of a G29, ten rounds of 10mm in a package that size sounds pretty good.
So how does yours shoot ?? Recoil spring life??
TIA
 :D

My G29 shoots great. I haven't felt the need to replace recoil spring, so I don't know what to tell ya.
It is a great package, 10 rounds of 10mm. YAHHHHHHH Baby. :D

DeltaElite, thanks- like I said, I keep thinking about that G29...
Sox,
I haven't heard anything bad about the G30, and also haven't seen any used ones for sale. Ten rounds of .45 in that package does look good.
Of course, I also keep looking at the G29, which I haven't heard bad things about either.

My G29 shoots just fine and with the kurz barrel, it's doubly fine!!
10 rounds of 10mm or 10 rounds of .40 S&W from the same gun!!! It's like dating a gorgous blonde AND her younger sister...at the same time!!! Double your pleasure, double your fun!!!

What would be awesome is if Glock introduced a single stack 10mm with the full slide length of the 20 so you get every last ounce of velocity out of it, but you don't have the ergos of a brick...
