Alright, I tried to post a picture from a saved file on my computer. Obviously I'm doing it wrong.

When you finish the text of your reply, hit "browse". This opens a window that lets you access your "my pictures" folder. Select the picture and then hit "open". That gets it set up into THR. Then, just click on "submit reply".
Hope this helps.
(Hope the picture isn't that of the guy holding the alleged 240-lb cougar. That one looked like Photoshop to me...)
Is this it? If it is I can tell you it is very real. I grew up in that area and know most of the parties involved quite well. I grew up with Mike and Brian. I have even hunted with Brian.

It wasn't that one, it was similar though. I wanted an opinion from some others.

Stand, if you use the IMG code, you can display the attachment in your post, like this:
The lion from the "Brian story" is believable; I note the weight was not given. Purely a guess, but maybe 180? The other one? I just don't think so.
The reason I'm a disbeliever is sorta simple: In my younger years, I was strong enough to carry a Chevrolet small block with crank, rods and pistons. That's around 300 pounds, in a compact mass. Now, dead deer are limp. Very limp. I've had difficulty picking up a 150-pound deer.
Few mountain lions get above some 150 pounds, for starters. Period. Brian's was definitely anomalous. Next, I don't think many guys are able to pick up 200+ pounds of limp, dead body. Whadda we got here, an Olympic weight lifter?
When things are way outside my experience, and when the numbers don't appear to jibe, I'm awful hard to convince.

Well I didn't have any numbers for the one I posted. It was an email forward and I blanked out the face because I didn't know if it had already been web published or not.
I thought the front paws should hang more loosely for a dead cat.

The photo in Preacherman's post was taken in Wahington state last year. The man holding it is the guide , JJ Hack, and the cat weighed 188 lbs as I remember. That's as big as they get.
