Well here it is guys! I found out it was made in 1977 micro grove barrel.Cant wait to shoot it.

Sweet! I like your plan to load a hard lead SWC w/ 2400 for it. Size 'em large and bump 'em hard.

If you can find them, try cast bullets sized to .432. I have one (newer production Ballard rifling) and it even feeds my Keith SWC cast from a Lyman 429421. I size to .431 but I keep hearing that the microgrooves prefer .432. Only one way to find out. Not sure if you cast, but the Lee 200 RNFP actually drops at about 214g lubed, and mine loves them. 10g of Unique and you can shoot all day. enjoy.

Seedtick I am not set up yet to load 44 mag yet! the money been slow at work!. When I do start to reload for 44 I will buy hard cast SWC&RN from Mo.bullet co. with 18.5 alliant 2400 and a 240 elmer kieth.

That's sounds like a winner Jack!

That Elmer Keith is about all my son-in-law shoots. We made a big Powder Valley order (big to us anyway) a couple of months ago and we got a big jug, eight pounder, of 2400 each. We like it!
