I can't seem to find a straight answer, is an H&R 923 C&R eligible?

Seems he never got an answer, either. Mine doesn't have a transfer bar.

How old is it? If you can date the thing at 50 yrs or older you don't need to worry about the list.

We are approaching a time when AR's start to turn 50 years old, will be interesting :)

And you won't get a straight answer unless you provide a serial number. The H&R 922 (923 being the nickel version) was produced between 1927 through the late 70's.

Well, being that the 923 was, it seems only produced until 1961, at least the model without the transfer bar like mine...
