does anybody have a good source for a replacement stock for a miroku 1886? I bought it about four years ago and cant shoot it. The deep crescent buttplate hurts my wimpy sholder. i would much rather have a shotgun style with a recoil pad. I am rather large so i can only shoot it if i put the crescent into my arm instead of my sholder, which i guess is how you mount a crescent in the first place, but i cant get a good cheek weld. Maybe my process is off or a am just a wimp. any sugestions would be helpful. thanks

I don't know of any direct drop-in replacement stock right off hand.

But you might try here for a custom stock with a shotgun butt plate:

for a little fit and finish work those prices seem quite good, thanks.
