Dang, you guys are good! :)
Apparently once they got inside, they found a fair amount of gook, but the appendix itself hadn't...quite.... burst. Which is a LOT better story than they were telling us just three hours ago.
She got out of recovery an hour or so ago, and is sleeping in her room. :)
Thank God, and thank you all.
God Bless You. :)

gaah.. talk about a drama. She just got moved to the ICU for pneumonia.
:(
She still stands a good chance of recovery, provided we can keep her bevy of "helpful" new friends from staging parties in the ICU ward from now on. (had to have a nurse throw out a half dozen of her new "bad crowd" buddies crowding around her bed and having a hen-gaggle while she was trying to rest) :banghead: :cuss: :fire:
anyhow.. thank you again for the prayers. They are much appreciated. :)
Bless you all.

Kaylee-
Glad to hear your mom is doing better! You know how it
is, you can't keep those Tennessee women down long.
I've got one myself, had her for 35+ years; and even
with all kind's health problems, she is still going strong.
Best Wishes,

Been through that myself. Not much fun.
Worst part is, I was in the ER by 5am and they didn't cut me until 2:00pm somehwere in that time it burst as well.
Cost me a week on my back hooked up to IV Tetracycline. Hopefully that's the worst she'll suffer. That stuff is usually still cold from the pharmacy fridge when they put it in.
Hope the bad crowd biddies stay away. Maybe you can get an approved list of visitors set up with the desk nurse?

Boy, lots of prayers to do today.
One on the way for your mother and for you, Kaylee. Fortunately a burst appendix isn't as serious as it was many years back.
