Since the majority of our discussions have centered
around DIES today, I have a question that the
membership can sleep on, and reply any time there
after.
Does anyone know for sure if Redding dies
have a born on date code, stamped into the die
body? How about it moderator's; what is your
opinion.
Sleep well, think about it and reply tommorrow!

Dan, I don't know if they have a "born on" date, but I bet they all have a lot number which could be researched with Redding's help.
Sorry, I'm not at home so I can't just look at a die and tell you. :(

Thanks for the info, Steve. You are correct, they do have
numbers stamped into each die; as an example, the EXP
and decapping die has "673" in place, beside the word
"Redding". It could stand for numerous thing's; but I
was thinking is might stand for June (6 month) of 1973?
When trying to contact Redding's "tech help" line, their
website just referred me in a different direction to 'FAQ's"
