Im thinking of getting one of two holster's for my glock 19, the first is a standard one with a rubber sight track inside

the other is one of those yaqui style ones

Does anyone have any thoughts on a yaqui, which one do you think seems decent. each are comfortable on me.

Yaqui holsters don't do it for me. I'd just as soon wear a powerful magnet on my belt.

I don't care for holsters that leave the barrel exposed. I consider it a real possibility you could launch your pistol out of the holster if you catch the muzzle on the arm of a chair, or similar object, when sitting down.

Kydex seems like such a natural for Glocks.

The Raven Concealment Phantom will allow you to wear one holster either Inside the WaistBand (IWB) or Outside the WaistBand (OWB) by just changing out the attachments. You can also adjust ride height and cant by moving the attachments.

This is an excellent holster for a first time owner since it lets you try out so many options with just the expense of one holster and some attachments.

The Wilderness 5-stitch Instructor belt is an excellent match for that pistol and holster combo.

A Don Hume J.I.T. Slide would be somewhere in between the two you're looking at:

I have a bunch of those for various pistols: Bersa Thunder, Glock 26, Sig P232, and Makarov. The price is right and the quality is pretty darn good.

For a few bucks more, get a hand made one. I like this guy, does leather and Kydex. Great guy.

Given the choice of the two, I would much rather have the Blackhawk, which is a full coverage belt slide, than the "Yaqui" style, for this reason:
I don't care for holsters that leave the barrel exposed. I consider it a real possibility you could launch your pistol out of the holster if you catch the muzzle on the arm of a chair, or similar object, when sitting down.
As well, if your cover garment rides up for whatever reason, instead of the bottom of the holster, people will see the bottom of your gun.

Lots of options, and leather lining makes it the best of both worlds.
