Someone in another forum claims that the 55 grain blitzking bullet is capable of sub .5 MOA in a 20" bbl Bushmaster.
Can someone confirm this?

I had a guy claim that he can shoot half inch groups at 200 and 300 yards off hand this weekend.

Concentrate on what you can do and not what others say. The two best stories heard on these boards is about shooting prowess and gun prices. Hip boots not included.

LRRPS, I have a Bushmaster match target 20" that will shoot three-shot groups into 1/2 MOA with Remington factory 55-grain and some sort of unknown 50- or 55-grain ammo. As near as I can tell, it'll keep ten shots inside one MOA. (I was sighting in with three-shot groups. Four different groups, as I adjusted the scope, and all of them were 1/2 MOA.)

First time shooting the critter; surely impressed me!

I've not messed with any "custom-tailored" handloads, yet, but I wouldn't be surprised at 5-shot, 1/2 MOA at 100 yards.

Well, if I were to doubt this other shooter without seeing him shoot them, I would look as idiotic as may look to some on this forum. :p

Having said that, in the past two weeks, I've been told by one person that they can shoot their 80+ year old K31 with surplus ammo into less than an inch at 100 yards. Another person claimed that his father could shoot 4 rounds from his 1950-ish Savage 99 in .300 Savage into the size of a fist from a quarter mile away with iron sights.

I know those 99s are nice rifles, but damn!

There are some truly amazing personal feats out there, as well as incredible guns/cartridges.

I remember a particular gunsmith claiming that with his Improved .30-'06, he would hold on a deer's back at 600 yards and hit it in the heart. Yes, well...Maybe the fact his nickname was "Butcher" derived with some justification...Wuz he blind? :D
