Bersa .380 plus problem

I'm hoping someone can help me out with this. I don't know a thing about Bersa's!
Mine has a disconnector issue, I think. The trigger won't drop the hammer or engage and it appears the disconnector is coming out of place away from the frame...?
Maybe something is missing?

Looks like there is a slot the disconnector should ride in, but it pops out.

Any help would be appreciated. I can send it to Bersa, but I'd rather fix it myself if possible.

The slide covers that tab and keeps it from coming out. It doesn't have a groove to ride in.

If you take off the right grip, you will be able to see the disconnector spring. It sound like it might be broken.

Just to check, you do know that it has a magazine safety and won't fire without the mag, right?

Yes, I know about the magazine safety.

The slide SHOULD cover that tab, but the tab protrudes away from the slide, that's the issue. I'll look into the disconnector spring.

With the slide on it stays locked back. The slide release won't engage the slide. Seems jammed up somewhere.

Does this look right?

I got the slide forward by touching the disconnector spring.
It won't fire with the slide on, but will with it off.
Still looking...

I'm tempted to buy new springs and install them just to see what happens. :banghead:

Fixed it!!!!

The problem wasn't the disconnector spring. The pin behind the disconnector was pushing it out and not allowing it to engage the trigger properly. Too simple to see!!
