I just got this remington 1903 A3 in pretty good shape. Bore looks good and is remington barrel 9-43 with flaming bomb, finish on metal is worn but no pitting, wod looks good but has been varnished some time in the past. I cant wait to give honor to this old war horse by sending some rounds down range. I am proud to have her. I think I can feel a trend coming on. I cought my self looking at some M1 carbines and some garandes. Thinking it would be cool to have a little US weapons from WW2 collection.

I have two of them, a Remington and a Smith-Corona. One cost $85, the other was a gift. They are really great rifles -- and one of only two bolt action battle rifles that are suitable for hunting as-is (the other being the Lee-enfield Number 4 MK II.)
