We have heard of lots of bad new on this forum as of late. Lets all just send our prayers or best wishes of our heart to those that need it.

It doesn't matter if you believe in a higher power or not sometimes it doesn't hurt to believe even if you don't think it will matter........because I for one think it will.

Here is to Kaylee's Mom, Blackhawk and RandyB's nephew.

I know this is not gun related but we are a family and a family should always be willing to take a moment to wish for the best of it's members.

To all please get well. We are all thinking of you.

Chris

I agree. Sometimes we take for granted the easy times and the folks we think will be around forever.

Its time to reflect on what we should be thankful for and pray for those who are in times of suffering and hardship.

My prayers and good thoughts for all of them. I was blessed with inordinate good luck recently. Maybe some of it can go to them now.

I hope the old adage about bad things coming in threes is accurate. :(

..and I'm proud to be associated with the fine people of "The High Road" who are so willing to rise to the occasion and offer their prayers to God or send their good thoughts to a comrade in need.

Not at all a bad thought Chris .. we are in a sense a family and it is right we should give thought and consideration to those within who need it.

I am not a ''praying'' man per se ... but I am a strong believer in the power of positive thought .. that much at least I can and will do, be assured.

Sometimes we take for granted the easy times and the folks we think will be around forever.

Yes, we do. I ordered a fairly expensive gun for my dad today, a limited edition piece that he told me he liked. With a mortgage to pay and an uncertain job future in my field, I had been hesitant to make such an expenditure, but then I realized that the man isn't going to be around forever and then I'd always regret putting money ahead of bringing him some happiness. Your advice is well taken.

It's a rough time when you need a consolidated 'thoughts and prayers' thread. :(

Yeah, sometimes times are rough. And any support is welcomed by the roughees. I have no problem with that. Consider prayers and good wishes sent for/to all.

You want gun related? OK, my tendinitis still makes it hard for me to aim my bullseye pistol. (But I'm back trying.) That seems sort of piddling by comparison, but now the thread's gun related. And BTW, when I first complained about this back on TFL, I got all kinds of helpful advice and support, for which I was and am grateful.
