Sorry, but i laughed pretty hard when I saw this. I've had a couple squibs, one with factory ammo. They all lodged only an inch or so down the barrel.

Did you use a screw to pull it out or a hammer and rod to push it all the way back?

I have seen pictures of such things before, but have never witnessed that in person.

Prarie dogger did bring a big grin to my face. :D
Glad to see it was caught before running a full charged load behind it.

Never had that happen to me. Luckily you caught it before putting another buillet down that barrel.

There was nothing wrong with that cartridge. The barrel was just too long. lol

When a buddy of mine was new to reloading, he had a gun do this. It was the last round of his mag and the slide had locked back. I stopped him from continuing his drill just after he dropped the slide and was about to fire. It was an easy squib to clear.
