Old Primer I.D. help

Got a few bricks of primers
one looks really old but in good shape.
Westerm No.1 1/2 improved
other is
Winchester No.120
need to know if in fact i have large rifle primers and improved? maybe mag primers.
really wish i new how to post a pic

And do you think they are still good. I will prime and fire some empty cases as soon as i get to that point.

Wow! Those right there are really old!

Win 120 should be standard Lg Rifle.
Win 1 1/2 should be Sm Pistol.

I don't recall what the "Improved" might mean.
I don't think it means Magnum, cause Magnum primers hadn't been invented yet when Winchester was using those numbers.

Same company, Same differance.

Western Cartridge Company acquired the Winchester Repeating Arms Company after Winchester went into receivership in 1931
