Was wondering if this stock would fit my rifle. I have a Remington 700 VS SF in 22-250. After trying a stock w/ that style grip, I can't stand regular stocks but can't afford a McMillan or HS precision stock..
Also, how are the Bell and Carlson stocks? What will I need to do to make it work w/ my rifle. The website says "bedding needed"...I thought they were supposed to be drop in stocks? So where am I suppoesed to get a new bed? Can you take the bed out of the old stock? Even so, how would I sell my old stock if it has no bedding?? I don't want to ruin the accuracy of the rifle. Is this something that is not worth buying? Thanks. Sorry for the rambling questions.
Oh also, is there someplace I can find out more info on the stocks. Bell and carlsons website sucks, not much info and the page w/ their "specialized" stocks doesn't even work. I see that there are difference cheek pieces and such but don't know what stocks they can be applied too.
