(These are on sale through the end of November 2011 for like half price.)
Pros: Need a ginourmous do everything range bag with a mini range bag stuffed inside? How about it it had 2 folio style pistol rugs and a brass bag? Seriously this is one over built piece of kit. Every pocket contains more pockets or elastic to store oodles of stuff. Maybe too much stuff. Center 'bucket' compartment comes out with its own handles to take ammo, mags to a stage. Reinforced bottom and sides, rubber feet, heavy duty WIDE shoulder strap, coarse toothed zippers, bottle caddy for your gatorade, magazine sleeves built in. Comes in olive or black. Nametag holder stitched on 3 sides looks tough. PVC coated nylon should be water resistant but I wouldn't hit it with a garden hose. Plenty of space for MHI or Unit patches.

Cons:
1. It's BIG, so big maybe it shold have wheels. I suspect I'll OVERFILL it.
2. Made in China, said so on the box.
3. Shipping was another $13. Shipped standing up, not vaccuum sealed flat.
4. "Pistol rugs" might be functional but oversized for a duty-style handgun.

Upgrade: Buy a $10 (on sale this month too) pistol rug with magazine pouches to replace the bucket bag/portfolio pistol rugs. Dense padding, very useful item I think.. esp if you are like me and have magazines all over the place.
This would make a great 'go bag' if it was made for a mix of pistol and rifle mags and had a shoulder strap.

I think this would replace a bunch of other bags I use and at same time would go great with a present my wife just bought for me. She got it from Cabela's, a Gun Buggy, at first I didn't think it would really be worth while but the buggy allows two rifles to be secured and tons of storage space. This bag would sit perfect on the buggy eliminating bunches of other bags I use. Where was this one list ?

I like the nylon stuff that Midway has. Bought an assault rifle type bag that was the shorter of the two. In it I keep my Marlin 1895G. The mag pouches hold a box or two of ammo. A short red dot sight on QD rings. A bottle of GI "bug juice" (repellant). A compass. A bag of Otis 3" patches. In the front, larger, zippered pouch is: A scope on QD rings (if not mounted on weapon). An Otis cleaning kit. Batteries for both the scope and Red Dot sight. Alen wrenches. Small bino's. A bagged, small tight weave towel with LPX oil worked into it. Lens cleaning cloth. And there's room to spare. In short, it is an all in one pick up and go deal that I find easy to use and has everything I need to go shoot whenever the mood hits me. It was $18 on sale and was some of the best money I ever spent. Gonna get me another for the next rifle that hits me to have a pick up and go gun.
I like their stuff, and they make it affordable and the customer service is top shelf!

I've been looking for a larger range bag, this one is a great price and is almost exactly what I want. It looks like the only flaw is that its only designed to hold two handguns. My much smaller current bag can hold that, I would really like a larger bag with provisions for at least four handguns. :(
Obviously, a bag that size I could probably stuff a half dozen guns into with no problem, but it seems its only got the two padded pistol cases to actually carry them properly.

Have someone handy with a sewing machine run stitch down the 'portfolio' case to effectively divide them into 2 compartments = promlem solved.
OR there are 2 large padded interior pockets the portfolios slip into... plenty of room for 4+ pistols.
(I suspect if you arranged them verically and divided the interior pockets with a serger or other industrial sized sewing machine you could put 6 in it--3 to a side.)

I have the Compact bag and thought that was huge when I finally saw it in person, but that looks colossal.
I've had mine for 4 or 5 years and I cram all manner of heavy junk in there including sandbags. It's held up great.

I have the same bag and love it. Thinking about getting another one and leaving one set up for pistols and the other for rifles. I love the idea of a running stitch to give me two pockets per pistol rug.

I have the exact same bag and I love it! Had it for several years and it's still in great shape. But yes, you can put too much stuff in it and make it waaaaay too heavy. It'll definitely hold more than I can carry. I still highly recommend it, just load it sensibly and spread out your heavier things into other bags. Like, don't try to put all your pistols, magazines and ammo in it. Even though it'll hold everything, you'll get a hernia trying to pick it up.
