As I was at my gun range recently the strangest bird I had ever seen appeared. It showed no fear at all, it just sat there calling to me.

At first I was leery of the thing, I mean, it's a fairly large bird and brightly colored. And the call it made was almost taunting. So naturally...I shot it.

And I caught the whole thing on tape.

Caution...almost 10meg....and rather humorous...at least to me.

P.S. sorry for the sound quality....

Smoke - yep we are on the same page it seems my friend.

Ran across a purple furry singing critter at the range once myself. Managed to get a rope around its neck and he kept singing...had to string this critter up on a target stand and shoot him - 00 buck didn't work [ snicker - grin] 1 oz slugs did the trick. Penetration ya know...that furry stuff is thick! ;)

1911 style used on the little critter a mirror image of the first. This one couldn't sing yet...strung him up anyway and 7 rds of JHP nipped in the bud any chance of getting big enough to sing. :p

A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do...:D
