I own a magnum research lone eagle in .223 rem. it came with a 2x20 simmons scope which is now mounted on my beretta neos. Im looking for a new scope for it in the 100 dollar range, i need somthing with bolder cross hairs (could barley see the old ones) and a little more magnification for longer range shooting. does anyone have some suggestions?

Yes, but unfortunately you will have to spend more than $100. You are not going to get much of scope in that price range.
A good rule of thumb is to spend at least as much on your glass as you did on the firearm. There is quite a difference in the quality of scopes being sold today.

i've still got this for sale....

i've had it on everything from a neos up to a smith .44 mag... never had a problem with it holding zero, although the old rings i had on it would slip on the .44.... thus the ring marks and scratches....
