Mr. Lamberger(s?). Do y'all have any experience with him? Is he any faster or slower than the rest? Did I pull a good one?

Al Lamburger is one of their fastest examiners. I used to have him when the list was alphabetical. I sure will miss him........

Lucky...
I've got Shipman, who has a terrible reputation. I'm well over a hundred days now.

Your examiner is....going to take 5-6 months like everyone else! :neener: I'm waiting on Al Hamburger to clear a Form 4 for me and I've been in pending status for two months so far. NFA Tracker shows the current wait from pending to approved to be about 4 months. They have actually updated the reports to show stats from the last six months, which is really helpful given the changes that have taken place.
Having some examiners retire and then switching to the state-based system really screwed things up royally in my opinion. Back in March I had a Form 1 that only took two months from the time it was sent until the time I had the stamp back in my hand. Those days are over...:(

I had Sandra Snook, and it took 6 months from when I mailed it in. I don't know if it's worth noting that the system changed about a month in, likely switching my examiner.

My most recent Form 4 (picked it up day before yesterday) was from Shipman.
Exactly 5 months door to door.

It's going to take 4-6 months regardless of who your examiner is. They have a large backlog of nfa items.

Sandra Snook took 5 months on mine. Given the work load I dont think its to bad.
