Need help tuning my Glock to my suppressor...

'Evening, gentlemen (and ladies). I am running a newly-acquired Thompson Machine Isis on a Glock 22 RTF2 that has a 9mm conversion in. I went from running a 13lb recoil spring (that I was using with the 9mm conversion) to the factory .40 caliber recoil spring, and it is still giving a good bit of blowback.

Additionally, it seems like there is a lot of noise out of the chamber, leading me to believe it is unlocking more quickly than it should. What spring weight have you all found to be successful for running 9mm on a boosted and suppressed full-size Glock? Thanks a lot for any insight.

I'm running a Glock 17L with a Lone wolf threaded barrel and an Osprey 45 suppressor. I had to go to about max loads (4.2gr Unique Berry's 147 gr plated) to get it to cycle reliably.

With the factory Glock barrel 3.9gr Unique functioned fine, I didn't expect to need more power with the slightly longer threaded barrel and suppressor, but I guess the polygonal barrel really does give higher velocities.

I'm using the factory recoil spring.

Some of the gases in the suppressor are always going to blow back into the action once the empty case extracts.

I find in general the Ospry on the Glock seems to shoot "cleaner" than it does on my FNP45 Tactical.

Interesting. Thanks for the feedback, Wally. Ultimately, I guess I might have to experiment. I want to increase my spring weights just up to the point of it being always able to spit out spent shells, but not weak enough to allow undue blowback/noise. Right now, even with the .40 cal spring, it launches spent cases with authority, occasionally tomahawking one right into my eye socket, haha.
