Pertaining to new factory 148 gr. wadcutter ammunition...
Which manufacturer uses a very soft lead bullet?

Actually all use a soft alloy, usually about 3% tin. However, the biggest difference is in bullet lubes. The Winchester and Hornady use a dry film white lube, Remington uses a black plastic-like coating that actually has a higher melting point than the lead. The rest such as Zero, Precision Delta, Anderson, 3-D all use a graphite-black powderd type lube, some with with a wax base, very similar to the Lyman lube.
All are quite accurate with different guns having different preferences. I prefer in my handloads for match competition to use the wax/alox base lubes. None of the above shoot as well as either Rooster Jacket or Lee Liquid alox used on bullets from which the original lubes have been stripped in my experience.
Also all are loaded to 680-750 fps from 6"bbls.
