View Full Version : Hey, folks, how about telling us...

Quite often a person posts on this board looking for advice with a problem. The good folks here try to provide answers, but very rarely ever hear whether the advice helped or how the problem was finally resolved.

Would it be too much trouble for the original poster to let us know what the result was, whether the advice helped, and to at least thank those who tried to help?

Good point Jim. It not only acknowledges that we've been able to help solve a problem, but it provides the information that did work so that others with the same problem can go on the information and bring'em
home alive.

Super Bowl anybody? Big day for the Tarheel State... I don't normally
follow football, but this one I'll watch. GO TEAM!

Definitely with you on that Jim ... tho in fact there are quite a good number of responses I have noticed ... for instance ''Thirties'' posted back on his ''Cat sneeze'' thread not long ago .. re his three test loads so far.

There are tho I am sure many who probably ''just forget'' to give follow-up info ... so hopefully this might give people a nudge .... on the basis that feedback is invariably of value ... not only to those who gave advice but those who are just plain interested.

Sure.

If I could get someone to answer my question. :D Dern Superbowl Sunday keeping my professors away from the classroom.

Note: not a how-to question, more of info request.

I almost always, reply back and/or give thanks. Its not troublesome at all. I think its just common courtesy to do so. If I miss some... I apologize.:o

I started over here looking for a solution and I think I've found it. Excellent advice from a lot of excellent guys and gals.
