Hey all,

I have a bunch of bullets I bought when I was loading for my 357 Casull and would like to try and develop a hunting load for my 6" S&W 686. Obviously OAL and case pressure is a concern. I'm not looking for loadings that are pushing the limits, just a nice load with some good punch that will make use of the bullets i have.

The bullets are Remington 180 grain SJHP's.

Thanks in advance.

Bullet is listed in original post: Remington 180g SJHP's

I have a pretty broad selection of powder but don't mind buying what I need, I have a large quantity of bullets.

Thanks

kelbro posted my load for jacketed 180s.

Hodgdons site has some 180 loads also .

I will say I don`t like lil gun , it warms the barrel up very qwik , but if ya use it shoot slowly for siteing in ,allowing the heat to disepate.
