I modified my SBR again (different sights, shorter barrel) and decided to take a quick video for those who might be interested. Enjoy. :)

Really wish I could afford a silencer, would own one for each of my guns. Impressed with how quiet it is.

Silencers are getting cheaper and cheaper, and the $200 tax stamp means less and less as inflation takes its toll. For a simple .22lr silencer, you can get a perfectly useful factory made one for $200 or under, plus the $200 tax. Heck, the one in that video cost me $160 plus the tax, if I remember right. :)

If you have a lathe or know someone with a lathe, then they are even cheaper to make. If I had to buy mine, I would own 2 or 3. With an investment of about $2000 in a lathe welder and other tools, I am working on can #14 now. This works out to under $200 per can plus the $200 tax. Spread out over ten years this is next to nothing. I have made them for 17 through 50 caliber so far.
