Any suggestions for a light and mount to put on a Winchester 1200 18" pump shotgun? This is my home defense gun. I would like to keep the cost around $100 for both. Not interested in any of those $300 - $400 lights I have read about over on ar15.com.

How do you figure?

if they have a remote switch, they cause malfunctions. if they don't you have to physically move your hand up to the end of the pumphandle (several inches farther forward than it usually is), which effectively increases the length of pull, and you can't control the light when on the reload stroke.

a far better (and cheaper solution) is to mount a rail on the pumphandle.
