Looking for suggestions for a double magazine holster for my Glock 30. I am taking a class this weekend and need one. Anyone seen a good one that is inside the waistband? I am a female and would never wear them anywhere else.

Thanks

I've never seen a IWB double mag carrier for the G30 - those fat magazines, coupled with the wide gun IWB on the other side, would make for a very uncomfortable carry, no?

That is a good point I hadn't thought of. I probably won't wear the mags except for the class, as I generally carry my spare in my left coat pocket. Perhaps you can recommend another kind?

never seen nor made a double IWB mag. carrier...if it is just for "range" use and not for carry then just go and buy you a Fobus double mag. carrier...I NEVER use a double rig for carry..a single mag. carrier has suited me for years and is what I sell the most of...I do use the Fobus for range use though..but when I am practicing I just use the single.

A double IWB does sound interesting, might be something I can take a look at when I get caught up a little bit more with my other prototypes.

preacherman has it right...those double stack mag.s are on the chunky side and would take up alot of space...

Come to think of it I have made a "clipon" double mag. carrier for a customers XD-9 compact that he seems to be happy with..but it is worn on the belt .

Galco. It will hold the ample G30 mags just fine. Has screw style tension adjustors so you are assured of a secure carry. Because these mags are somewhat bulky I don't think it would make a very comfortable IWB carry. Otherwise it has been just fine for me. Good shooting;)

I appreciate all of the great suggestions. I think for the sake of training I will get a double belt holster, and continue to carry my spare in my pocket. Thanks all.

Fobus is fine for training. Because the paddle rides down in the pants you will probably want to wear it behind the hip bone, basically along the seam of the pants. If it's much further forward it will inhibit bending and getting into the front pockets.

The best actual belt carry mag pouch for actual use for me is a Blackie Collins pouch I bought which can be carried horizontally, which conceals well. Even if it shows is just looks like a knife or cell phone pouch, since the flap completely covers the mag. I use it for a 26; I don't know if the 30 mag would fit or not.

FWIW,

I just use two Side Armor single mag pouches. Mernickle's dbl mag pouches fit the other Glock mags fine, I'd phone to see if they work for the larger .45 & 10MM mags.
