Alright guys, This may be a stupid question but do all holsters for a full size 1911 fit Rock Island Armory or is it different for each brand?

They should all be the same

While all 1911's are similiar there are some differences, I would recommend finding out the holster makers mold type and checking out pictures of it and comparing it to your model to make sure it is similiar enough. JMHO
Even on my website under the models I have a disclaimer that is about this.

It depends. Most 1911's are similar enough to fit a holster made for a 1911. However, there are some oddities, mostly involving rails.

A holster made for the RIA GI

Will not fit the RIA 2011 Tactical. Notice the rail.

Most Sig 1911's have a specific "Sigish" style slide. They often won't fit in a well made holster for a 1911.

Probably, this is why Sig has begun offering their "Traditional" line of 1911's.

I had your RIA and it is standard size for holsters.

You are good to go!
