AK Mag LULA

I just received an AK/Galil LULA (loader/unloader) from Gunsnet. WOW! Using this is much easier than trying to load an AK mag with stripper clips. The design of the LULA is really ingenious, using a couple cams actuated by the lever to alternately depress each column in the magazine. As with many great ideas, it's very simple.

Has anyone tried the M-16 LULA with Mini-14 mags? The AK/Galil LULA does not.

I wish I had picked up one of these sooner, especially since I've probably known about the LULA longer than anyone else in the US. The inventor, Ron T. emailed me about it back when it was being adopted by the IDF for use with their M-16s. He wanted to know if I thought there was a US market for them. I encouraged him to find a US distributor. The rest, as they say, is history. Too bad I wasn't bright enough/solvent enough to become his US distributor. :banghead:

I would have to agree with you.....I bought an AK LULA a few months ago when it first came out. GREAT product. My fingers are much happier.

I've had both the AR & AK versions and wouldn't be without one. Now, I'm just waiting for the FAL version to come out!:)
